BRS working president KTR claimed that Telangana state has contributed more taxes to Centre than it has received in return, and the taxes collected from Telangana have been used to develop Bharatiya Janata Party ruled states. KTR accused Union minister G. Kishan Reddy of making false claims about sanction of funds and development projects to Telangana state. On Friday, KTR said that he was ready to prove this and ready to quit as minister he failed to establish the allegation.
Minister KTR at a public meeting in Huzurnagar after launching development programs in Suryapet district, said that the Centre has collected Rs 3.65 lakh cr from Telangana state through taxes, while the state has received Rs 1.68 lakh Cr.
KTR claimed that BJP did not take up his challenge to prove his statement wrong. He also said that if they prove his statements are wrong, he is prepared to quit as minister. He questioned that will Kishan Reddy tender an apology to people for his false claims?
KTR called BJP – a dangerous party, which instigate communal issues and creates rift among the people, KTR warned the youth not to get trapped in BJP’ lies.
He added that India in debt under Narendra Modi’s rule. On the other hand, Telangana has emerged as a role model in implementation of the welfare packages and development programmes under the leadership of KCR.
