The film Laal Singh Chaddha which was released alongside Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan, failed to impress the movie lovers. Both Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha’s performances at the box office left trade analysts and movie lovers shocked.
Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan film faced a major boycott from the netizens, which may have been a reason for the bad performance at the box office. The film saw a 25 per cent drop in collections on Day 8.
Netizens called for a boycott of Laal Singh Chaddha over statements made by Aamir and Kareena Khan in the past. Both the lead actors requested fans not to boycott Laal Singh Chaddha and asked them to watch the movie in theatres.
