Lakshya movie review: Naga Shaurya and Ketika Sharma starrer Lakshya has hit the theaters today. Let’s see the story of Laskhya.
Story: Pardhu(Naga Shaurya) wants to become an archer from his childhood. His grandfather Raghu Ramaiah (Sachin Khedekar) sacrifices his earnings to make Pardhu an archer but unfortunately, he failed to win a championship for the country. How does he achieve the goal and win the world championship, form the rest of the story of Lakshya.
- Naga Shaurya
- Archery Backdrop
- Sachin Khedekar
- Routine story
- Dull climax
Performance: Naga Shaurya has given his energetic performance in Lakshya. He is good in few emotional scenes. His six-pack body look with a long ponytail and chiseled body is highlighted. Sachin Khedekar in the role of Nag Shaurya’ grandfather is the main asset. Ketika Sharma in the role of girl friend is ok . Jagapathi Babu steals the show with his performance. His acting skills are commendable. Rest of the cast of Lakshya justify their roles.
Technical: The story is routine. The Cinematography has a realistic texture to it. And it is very good. Music by Kaala Bhairava is also good. Background music makes an impact. Dialogues written are an asset. Editing is fine. Production values are good. Coming on the work of director Dheerendra Santhossh Jagarlapudi, he did a decent job with this film based on archery. Dheerendra Santhossh Jagarlapudi plays to his strengths and gives a new avatar to Naga Shaurya. There are too many elevation scenes in the movie Lakshya. The manner in which Naga Shaurya gets addicted to drugs and spoils his career has been shown well.
Analysis: Lakshya is an archery-based sports drama and the main asset of the film is Naga Shaurya’ performance.
