Karthikeya will always be a special film in the career of Nikhil. This film went onto become a phenomenal success and Nikhil cemented his place in Tollywood with this film. Karthikeya has minted more than 25 crores at that time which is not an ordinary feat.
Now after these many years, Karthikeya 2 is being made. As the title suggests many have thought that the movie is sequel to the first installment. However it is false.
Movie unit has made it clear that Karthikeya 2 is not a sequel but Nikhil has same characterization in this movie too. He is interested in finding answers for the unanswerable. Karthikeya 2 will be revolving around a temple in Dwaraka. Except the temple back drop there will be nothing in common between the two movies. Already concept video of Karthikeya 2 is a huge hit and grabbed the audience interest.
Shooting of the film will kick start once this lock down period is removed. Peoples Media Factory is producing this movie and Chandoo Mondeti who directed Karthikeya is the director for this film too. More details about the project will be out in a couple of weeks.
