Megastar Chiranjeevi made his come back in Tollywood with a long gap with Khadi No 150, which was hit at the box office. Later he came up with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy and currently Chiranjeevi is working with Koratala Siva for an upcoming project which is tentatively titled Acharya. A still that features Chiranjeevi has been leaked from the shoot spot which has created confusion.
Coming on the leaked still, Chiranjeevi is seen wearing a Khaki colored shirt and a red scarf around his neck. Now few are thinking that Chiranjeevi is playing naxalite in this movie. On the otherside, it was heard that Chiranjeevi is essaying the role of a government employee of the endowments department.
The sources say that Koratala Siva’ directorial venture Acharya will revolve around real incidents that have taken place in AP in the past, about the major temple scam.
Ram Charan is producing Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya under Konidela Productions Company banner, in association with Matinee Entertainments production house. Interestingly, Dhruva star Ram Charan had bankrolled Chiranjeevi’ comeback film Khaidi No: 150 and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. It is also being heard that Trisha Krishnan will play the female lead in Acharya.
Koratala Siva is popular for directing blockbuster movies such as Srimanthudu, Mirchi and Bharat Ane Nenu. And now he is making a movie for Chiranjeevi starrer which is based on the temples, temple lands and a major scam that is happening around them.
