Lata Mangeshkar has been admitted to the ICU of Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital, as she tested positive for Coronavirus on Saturday. She has also been suffering from Pneumonia since long time, the doctors said. She has joined in the hospital on Saturday, but this information has come to light today.
And, her family doctor Pratik Samdhani has told that he can’t disclose any further details about her health condition.
She is an Indian playback singer and music director too. She is most renowned and respected playback singers in India. She is also called as ‘The Nightingale Of India’. She has recorded songs in over 1000 films in Hindi language and she sang songs in over 36 languages totally. She also performed in foreign languages as well.
She was honoured with Padma Bhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke, Maharashtra Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan and Bharat Ratna Awards respectively.
