Liger Collections: The young sensation Vijay Deverakonda is a big name in the Telugu film industry. His movie Arjun Reddy made him a star down South and now he is making his debut in Bollywood with a much hyped movie Liger which has Ananya Panday as the leading lady. Puri Jagannadh’s directorial venture is shot in Telugu and Hindi, and it will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. The film which also has boxing legend Tyson is produced by Karan Johar, Puri himself and Charmee Kaur. Currently, the lead actors Vijay and Ananya, the team of Liger are busy with the promotional activities.
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday starrer Liger is getting good traction in the USA as the advance sales for premiers are around $45k. Vijay Deverakonda’s biggest premieres number was $403k for his romantic drama Geetha Govindam, helmed by Parasuram in which he romanced Kannada lady Rashmika Mandanna.
It is known that recently released three movies- Sita Ramam, Bimbisara and Karthikeya 2 are running successfully at the box office and turning out blockbuster. The traders are expecting that Liger will also earn handsome number at the box office.
Recently, Vijay Deverakonda in a press conference revealed that after watching Arjun Reddy, Karan Johar had offered him a Hindi film. But, at that time he wasn’t ready for it.
