Temper, Pokiri and ismart Shankar fame Puri Jagannadh wrote and directed the film Liger starring the young sensation Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday under his Puri Connects banner in association with Charmme Kaur and Dharma Productions. The movie stars actress Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy and Makarand Deshpande in the supporting roles. Ahead of the film’s release, Puri Jagannadh recently spoke about all things Liger in a media interaction. During the interaction, Puri Jagannadh was asked if he is concerned about Liger’s fate at the box office, considering a few Hindi movies haven’t done well at the box office of late.
Puri Jagannadh replied that It is happening in all industries, not just in Bollywood. If the movie lovers don’t like the trailer, they are not going to the theatre, irrespective of whoever is in the movie. Puri Jagannadh also spoke about Liger climax and said, “ Vijay and Ananya film Liger will have an interesting climax. It will be based on an interesting situation featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Mike Tyson. It will be similar to Pushpa’ climax.”
Both Vijay Deveakonda and Ananya Panday are currently busy promoting Liger which is all set to hit the theatres on 25th August, 2022, in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
