Liger Box office Collections: The young sensation Vijay Deverakonda and Bollywood actress Ananya Panday starrer sport based drama Liger got an impressive start at the box office. The movie was released on 25th August and received the mixed response by the movie lovers and the critics. According to trade reports, Liger earned around Rs 33.12 crore on its opening day but the film experienced a drop of more than 50 per cent on the second day The Hindi version of Liger had a delayed release for unknown reasons. Now according to the latest report, the Hindi dubbed version of Liger has collected Nett 5.6 crs on day one.
Director Puri Jagannadh’s Liger had great advance booking due to which it managed to collect Rs 33.12 crore on its release day from all the versions. Liger starring Vijay Deverakonda is a sports drama written and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The film marked Vijay Deverakonda’s Bollywood debut and Ananya Panday’s Telugu debut. The movie also has Makarand Deshpande, Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Ali and boxing legend Mike Tyson in the crucial roles.
Vijay Deverakonda is playing the role of MMA fighter in Liger which is bankrolled by Karan Johar, Charmee Kaur and Puri Jagannadh.
