Lightning kills 3, in rain pounded Mumbai

It’s heavily pouring in Mumbai, the roads, streets, tracks and almost all means of a commute are being delayed/halted due to the over flooding of water everywhere. As this is on one side, three people were killed because of lightning. Getting to the details, five were waiting under a shed looking rain to subside meanwhile, lightning struck their place and three were spot dead, leaving other severely injured. The deceased were identified as, Parvati M Kore, 55, Chatursingh J Rajput, 41 and Sanket D Chormule, 17.

Apart from this, in Shivajinagar, Govandi suburb in north-east Mumbai, a person named Mohammed Ayub Kazi was electrocuted while it was raining and he was further rushed to a hospital nearby, however, sadly he was declared dead. Weather reports suggest that there will be heavy rain for the next couple of days. Drenched walls were collapsed at 12 places of the city and whereas, a retaining wall was also collapsed but, luckily no was there at that time.
