Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently working with Koratala Siva of Mirchi, Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu fame for an upcoming project Acharya, which is produced by Konidela Production Company in association with Niranjan Reddy’s Matinee Entertainment. We have already reported that the shoot of Acharya has been postponed as Koratala Siva is making changes in the script. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, a bit of comedy dose has been increased in the film Acharya and this is being done as Chiranjeevi felt that the film has become way too serious.
Megastar Chiranjeevi wants Acharya to be a bit easy on the fun part. The film which is carrying the social message has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role. Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya will reunite music director Mani Sharma with Sye Raa actor after a gap of several years. Mani Sharma has previously composed for Stalin, Jai Chiranjeeva, Anji, Tagore, Indra, among others.
S Thirunavukkarasu is handling the cinematography and Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela is the costume designer whereas Navin Nooli is the editor.
Earlier Trisha Krishnan was slated to make her Tollywood comeback with this film Acharya, but she soon announced her exit from the project citing creative differences. Later, it was announced that Kajal Aggarwal was roped in to play the female lead role.
