Sekhar Kammula is a popular director, screenwriter, and producer of Telugu film industry. A Master of Fine Arts holder from Howard University, Sekhar  made his directorial debut with  the film Dollar Dreams, which won him the National Film Award for Best First film of a director.  The film maker Sekhar Kammula demonstrated his humanitarian side by assisting a farmer K Lakshmaiah whose house was burnt, and his 6 lakh rupees in cash which he  kept in the almirah was also burnt.

The sources revealed that the farmer K Lakshmaiah is from Nelamarri in Suryapeta district’s Munagala mandal. When Sekhar Kammula heard this news, he came forward for the help of the farmer. He promised the farmer more assistance and he also credited Rs 1 lakh into the farmer’s bank account immediately.

Sekhar Kammula’ humanitarian effort is being praised by  the netizens.  It is known that during the Coronavirus pandemic,  Fidaa and Love Story helmer also  demonstrated true heroism  and extended his support to the needy people.

On the work front, Sekhar Kammula’ previous offering was Love Story in which Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi played the lead role. The movie has completed its run at the theaters and turned out clean hit.
