Arjun Reddy starring Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, is being remade in Hindi, in which Padmavaat star Shahid Kapoor is reprising the role of Vijay Devarakonda. Now according to the latest update, the makers of Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy has brought Lust beauty Kiara Advani on the board to play the female lead role. She will be seen playing the role of Shalini Pandey.
The seductive vibrator scene of Kiara Advani from Karan Johar’s short film Lust Stories on Netiflix has already grabbed several eyeballs and now Kiara Advani will be seen locking her lips with Shahid Kapoor in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. Those who have watched the Telugu version of Arjun Reddy, are aware of that both Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey have given number of steamy kisses in the movie.
Earlier the makers roped young actress Tara Sutaria as a female lead in the Hindi version of Arjun Reddy but she walked away from the project as she was not able to allot the dates for the shoot. The sources say that Kiara Advani has already signed the project and very soon an official announcement will be made regarding her inclusion.
Kiara Adavni is well known face for Telugu audiences as she was paired opposite Superstar Mahesh Babu in political drama Bharat Ane Nenu in the direction of Koratala Siva, which was hit at the box office.
Arjun Reddy, which was supposed to go on floor in August, reportedly got delayed but the reasons were unknown. Recently, Shahid Kapoor clarified that the director wanted him to grow his beard more to get the proper look for the film. But, the film faced another hurdle when Tara Sutaria had back out from the project.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who directed the Telugu film Arjun Reddy, will also be helming its Hindi remake and it will be produced by Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani.
