Vishnu Manchu and Prakash Raj are contesting for the president’s post in the 2021 MAA elections. The voting for electing the new office-bearers of MAA started on Sunday morning. Some drama played itself out outside the polling booth. The TV visuals showed Prakash Raj and Vishnu Manchu exchanging pleasantries and spotted hugging each other.
Everyone from megastar Chiranjeevi, Power Star Pawan Kalyan, Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Naga Babu to Sneha Ullal, Genelia and Nithya Menen turned up to cast their vote. The polling was concluded at Jubilee Hills Public School. Compared to the previous elections, this year’s contest was intense, with the panelists of both the Presidential candidates, Vishnu Manchu and Prakash Raj, resorting to the allegations against the opposition members.
Out of the 905 total votes and 883 valid votes, 605 votes were polled at polling centre and another 60 votes were polled via postal ballot, that make a record 665 votes.
The counting has been started. The President votes will be counted in the end. The final results will be announced at around 8 PM.
