After being elected as President of the MAA, Manchu Vishnu revealed that Chiranjeevi, who was in the support of Prakash Raj, did not want him to contest the elections. Manchu Vishnu said that Chiranjeevi  called his father Mohan Babu and asked to tell him to withdraw his nomination.  On Monday, Prakash Raj declared that he was quitting the MAA.

Today Prakash Raj said that he would take back his resignation subject to certain criteria being met.  The veteran actor added, “I will withdraw my resignation. But on one condition that if you do not change  MAA rules and regulations after being sworn in as the President that a Non-Telugu person should not contest in the MAA elections. If it changes, then I don’t want to vote or win.”

Now according to the latest report, Prakash Raj has announced that all the winners from his panel are resigning from the Movie artist association of Telugu Cinema. All the members of his panel are resigning to avoid any setbacks and assurances given by Manchu Vishnu in the recent elections. We have a problem with Naresh and his modus operandi. The way  Naresh has been influencing the MAA elections has been disheartening.

Prakash Raj, who was contested for the president post, also suspected heavy cross voting and manipulation in MAA elections.
