Telugu actress Madhavi Latha joined BJP in presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, Telangana BJP president K Laxman, and other party leaders, at Telangana BJP office in Hyderabad on Saturady
Recently Madhavi Latha was in news headlines over her comments on casting couch and non-Telugu actresses. And in an TV interview, Madhavi expressed her desire to join politics and finally she has joined BJP party. Madhavi Latha confirmed this news by her Facebook post. She wrote, “Finally Joined in BJP Official joining with the presence of central minister Nitin gadkari…. Happy to be part of national party BJP.”
Madhavi Latha attended question hour programme of a top TV news channel and targeted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. She accused Naidu of not showing accounts for the funds disbursed by Centre. She also alleged involvement of corruption in Polavaram irrigation project. Not only this, Madhavi Latha also blamed CM Naidu for changing the words on the special category status.
Madhavi Latha revealed the reasons for her joining BJP. She said, “ My love and liking for Power Star Pawan Kalyan is eternal and ever lasting. My joining BJP would never hamper her fondness for Pawan Kalyan.” Madhavi Latha further said, “ I have got inspired by my brother who is in Indian Army and so as by BJP’s ideology of National Integrity.”
Madhavi Latha has also expressed her interest to contest in elections in 2019. She added if party orders her to contest, she will contest from any constituency.
