National Award winning director Madhur Bhandarkar is known for creating iconic women characters and films like Chandni Bar, Page 3 and Fashion, in now coming up with his upcoming movie Babli Bouncer, which has milky siren Tamannaah Bhatia as the leading lady. Baahubali girl will be seen in a fun, feisty and never-seen-before avatar of a female bouncer. Currently the team is busy in the promotional activities of this film Babli Bouncer.
Talking about casting Tamannaah Bhatia in the film Babli Bouncer, Madhur Bhandarkar said, “Tamannaah Bhatia is very hardworking. She is talented. I hadn’t seen any of her work before casting her in Babli Bouncer. I had only seen Baahubali but that also I did not remember since I watched it 3-4 years back. When I look at an actress, I look for the character. So, when Tamannaah came, I thought she was the perfect one to play Babli in this drama.”
Madhur Bhandarkar added, “I am a very humorous person in real life. After Chandni Bar, the people assumed that I love to do dark cinema but when I got Tamannaah film Babli Bouncer, I wanted to make a comedy, slice-of-life film.”
