Maestro Movie Review: Nithiin, Nabha Natesh and milky beauty Tamannah Bhatia starrer Maestro, the remake of Hindi action thriller drama Andhadhun is now live on Disney Hotstar. Let’s see the story of Maestro.
Story: Arun (Nithiin) a blind pianist in Goa, is privy to an aftermath of a murder and his conscience urges him to report the crime he has technically not witnessed, but is there more to him than meets eye?

Performance: Nithiin who is known for playing the romantic roles in the movies, chooses a different role this time. He delivers an excellent performance in the role of a guy pretending to be blind. His body languages, performance and way of dialogue delivery are superb. Nithiin in the lead role is a revelation. Tamannah Bhatia looks cute on the screen. She is outstanding in a conflicted role that expects her to be vulnerable and deceitful. This is the first time she is playing a negative character. Nabha Natesh is neat in her small role and she makes a memorable appearance. Jisshu Sen Gupta as CI Bobby is ok. Racha Ravi and Mangli are fine. Rest of the cast of Maestro perform accordingly.
Technical: Boasting of a brilliant screenplay and masterfully crafted narrative by Merlapaka Gandhi, the story’s audacious characters and constant twists, keep you riveted. Atmospheric and moody, an underlying fear of what lies ahead grips the viewers imagination. While the first half of Maestro is replete with a blend of palpitating tension and suspense, the second half slumps a bit. The Cinematography is eye-candy. The music composed by Mahati Swara Sagar is good. He also impressed with the background score. The editing is neat. Coming to the work fof Merlapaka Gandhi, he has done a decent job with Maestro.
Analysis: A murder scene, the film’s principal turning point – sums up the delicious duality of Maestro tone. Watch Maestro with your ears, eyes and minds open, you will come away with your senses heightened. Maestro is an engaging thriller that keeps you on your toes and leaves you guessing all the way.
