Mahanati– The biopic of legendary South Indian actress Savitri, helmed by Nag Ashiwn of Yevade Subramanyam fame, which was arrived at the theaters on 9th May 2018, is running successfully at the box office and according to the traders report, Mahanati has earned Rs 15.5 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, after the successful run of 11 days. Ram Charan & Samantha Akkineni starrer village based drama Rangasthalam, Mahesh Babu & Kiara Advani’s political drama Bharat Ane Nenu and Stylish Star Allu Arjun & Anu Emmanuel starrer Naa Peru Surya, were the three most awaited movies of this summer. Mahanati is giving very touch competition to Bharat Ane Nenu and Naa Peru Surya at the box office especially in USA.

Keerthy Suresh is playing Savitri and Dulquer Salmaan is essaying the role of Gemini Ganesan, the husband of Savitri in Mahanati.
