Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi is still running successfully at the box office and is doing decent collections. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead whereas Allari Naresh is essaying the role of Mahesh Babu’ friend in Vamsi Paidipally’ directorial venture Maharshi. The movie all set to create another record by completing 50-day successful run in 200 theatres around the world. Recently we have reported that the makers have organized the 50 days event on 28th June 2019 at the Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad. Now according to the latest update, due to sudden demise of Vijaya Nirmala, the 50 days event of Maharshi has been called off.
According to the makers, Maharshi has earned approximately over Rs 180 crore gross at the worldwide box office. The movie, which has made with a budget of Rs 100 c , has received recovered this amount from its global theatrical rights.
The production house Sri Venkateshwara house has also confirmed the news that 50 days event of Maharshi has been cancelled, via a tweet, “Deeply saddened by the untimely demise of Vijaya Nirmala garu. Her success story is an inspiration for every aspiring film maker. Our deepest condolences to Krishna garu and his family. #RIPVijayaNirmalaGaru #Maharshi 50 days event which was scheduled for 28th June 2019 stands postponed.”
