Malavika Mohanan, the daughter of cinematographer KU Mohanan, has been roped in upcoming Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth starrer upcoming 162th film. According to the latest update, Malavika Mohanan will play the crucial role in this film. K U Mohanan is film cinematographer who primarily works in the Bollywood film industry. Currently he is cranking the camera for Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally.
Malavika Mohanan made her debut with Malayalam film Pattam Pole in 2013, in which played the leading role of Riya, a girl who grew up in a village in Alappuzha, but follows a bit modern lifestyle. She has also acted in several advertisements, including Hero Honda in Hindi and Mathrubhumi Yathra. Malavika Mohanan is also popular for Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds, which was released in summer this year.
