This is the first time when Mahesh Babu collaborated with Vamsi Paidipally for a project Maharshi. According to the latest update, the pre release event of Maharshi will take place on 1st May at people’s plaza at Necklace road in Hyderabad. Though the team wanted to hold the pre release event of Maharshi in a bigger place like LB Stadium but this time the government has not given permission as Electronic Voting Machines of parliament polls are kept there.
It is heard that all the directors who worked with Mahesh Babu in his last 24 films are invited to attend this event.
‘Maharshi’ is directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Oopiri fame and is produced by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema whereas it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad.
DJ and Aravinda Sametha fame Pooja Hegde is playing the love interest of Mahesh Babu whereas Allari Naresh is playing the crucial role in Maharshi, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May.
Maharshi also has Meenakshi Dixit, Ananya, Jagapathi Babu, Rajendra Prasad, Sai Kumar, Mukesh Rishi, Prakash Raj, Nassar, Naresh, Jayasudha, Posani Krishna Murali, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Rao Ramesh and Naveen Chandra in supporting roles.
