Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu bags an award at Dada Saheb Phalke Awards 2019. He wins the best actor award for Koartala Siva’ directorial venture Bharat Ane Nenu. This is the first year of Dada Saheb Phalke Awards South. The star-studded event was held in Hyderabad last night to give away the awards.
Namrata shirodkar, the wife of Mahesh Babu received Dada Saheb Phalke Awards 2019, which was given for his performance in Bharat Ane Nenu.
Director Sukumar and music composer Devi Sri Prasad have also been given awards for their stupendous work in village based drama Rangasthalam in which Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni played the lead roles. The bombshell Payal Rajput also won the best actress award for her Telugu debut RX100.

Bharat Ane Nenu is a 2018 political action drama, directed by Koratala Siva, starring Mahesh Babu, Kiara Advani and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. Currently Mahesh Babu is working with Anil Ravipudi.
