The latest edition of the ZEE Cine Awards ceremony was held yesterday evening, 24th January. Kalathapasvi K Vishwanath was honored with the Life Time Achievement Award. Megastar Chiranjeevi won the ‘Best Actor Award for his recent offering Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Samantha Akkineni won Best Actress award for her previous offering Oh Baby, which was directed by Nandini Reddy and Majili. On the other side, Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu bagged the first-ever Twitter Star Award for being the most tweeted actor in Telugu Film Industry in the year 2019.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is helmed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration fame. This is the first time, Mahesh Babu shared the screen space with Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna in a film, which is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, Anil Sunkara and Mahesh Babu himself. Currently, Mahesh Babu is on a vacation and after coming back to city Hyderabad, he will start the preparation for his next, which will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally of Maharshi fame.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi is currently working with Koratala Siva for a message-oriented commercial drama, which is being bankrolled by Mega Power Star Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. According to the latest buzz, Trisha Krishnan will be seen sharing the screen space with Chiranjeevi in this film.
