Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating his birthday today. The talented actor who started his career with a supporting role in the 1975 film Apoorva Raagangal, proved to the country as well as the world that language was but a minuscule barrier in the reach of an art form such as cinema. Today on the occasion of Rajinikanth’ birthday, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter to share his birthday wishes to Darbar actor.

Rajinikanth’ acting doesn’t need awards, not even Oscars, but if someday Oscars gets a Rajinikanth award, we would hardly be surprised.
Rajinikanth was last seen in action and family drama Annaatthe, which graced the theatres on the occasion of Diwali. The movie features Rajinikanth alongside Keerthy Suresh, national award winning actress Nayanthara, Jagapathi Babu, Meena, Khushbu and Prakash Raj.
