Mahesh Babu is bringing veteran actress Jaya Prada in his upcoming film Maharshi. According to the latest report, Jaya Prada has been roped in an upcoming big budget drama Maharshi, which is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Vamsi Paidipally, in which Superstar Mahesh Babu is playing the lead role. It is heard that Jaya Prada will be seen playing the role of Mahesh Babu’s mother in Maharshi. This is Mahesh Babu’s 25th movie and DJ & Saakshyam fame Pooja Hegde is on the board to play the female lead role.
Jaya Prada has also shared the screen space with Mahesh Babu’s father Superstar Krishna’s movies in more than 50 movies and now she is going to become the part of Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi. The sources say that very soon she will join the sets.
Allari Naresh is playing the important role in Maharshi, which is being bankrolled by Dil Raju, Ashiwini Dutt and PVP under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema respectively. The Music for the film has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad, the cinematography is by KU Mohanan and the editor is KL Praveen. Recently the makers canned a song on Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde in Goa. Now the team of Maharshi is planning to head USA for the shoot.
Recently the makers of Maharshi released the teaser of the film, which received superb response from the movie lovers. In the teaser, Mahesh Babu was seen as a college student. Previously, he played the college student role in Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu. This is the first film in which Mahesh Babu is working with Vamsi Paidipally.
Jaya Prada has acted in several Telugu movies like Bhoomi Kosam, Kurukshetram, Adavi Ramudu, Simhasanam, Prajarajyam, Maharathi etc. Apart from Maharshi, Jaya Prada will also be seen in another upcoming Telugu movie Suvarna Sundari, which is in post production stage.
