Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and the team of Sarileru Neekevvaru are confident on the success of their upcoming much hyped film, which is arriving at the theatre tomorrow on 11th January 2020.
After delivering blockbusters such as Bharat Ane Nenu and Maharshi, now Mahesh Babu is all set to score a hat trick with Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is helmed by Anil Ravipudi and presented by Dil Raju under Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Mahesh Babu starrer is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara in GMB Entertainment and AK Entertainments banners. Recently Mahesh Babu interacted with media as a part of promotional activities and spoke about Sarileru Neekevvaru.
When Mahesh Babu was asked about his experience of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’, to which he replied, “When Anil Ravipudi was busy in the shoot of F2, he gave me the narration of this story. I told him that I have commitment and will do this film after its completion. But I was very excited after hearing the narration. When I watched F2, I decided to do Sarileru Neekevvaru after ‘Maharshi’. ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is the perfect script for the Sankranthi festival. I took some time to look fit for this film as I am playing as an army major Ajay Krishna. The shoot of Sarileru Neekevvaru was started in July and we wrapped up the entire shoot in December. The cast and crew of this film worked without any rest for 125 days. Doing the film ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’ is one of the best decisions in my life.”
When Mahesh Babu was asked how much he confident about Sarileru Neekevvaru, he said, “’Bomma Daddarillipoddi’. I am very confident about the success of ‘Sarileru Neekevvaru’. The Producers of this film are also feeling the same after watching its first copy. We are going to score a blockbuster with Sarileru Neekevvaru.”
Mahesh Babu showered praises for the director Anil Ravipudi by saying that he did a great job of making this film which has patriotism with entertainment. Sarileru Neekevvaru star Mahesh Babu added, “I believe in the director. As Anil Ravipudi has very good clarity about this character, It became easy for me doing my character in this movie. It is a new kind of experience for me coming out of my comfort zone and did this film Sarileru Neekevvaru after ‘Dookudu’. Sarileru Neekevvaru will have a Kurnool backdrop. Kondareddy Buruzu is a landmark place in Kurnool and it played a role in this film Sarileru Neekevvaru. My role at Kondareddy Buruzu in Okkadu became iconic. For this film, art director Prakash recreated Kondareddy Buruzu exactly at Ramoji Film city.”
Mahesh Babu also spoke about doing comedy and dance in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Dookudu star Mahesh Babu said, “ The director Anil designed my character very carefully according to my body language by watching ‘Dookudu’ and ‘Khaleja’ but in a different way. This film has good scope for a mass song and this credit goes to Sekhar master. My fans will witness a new Mahesh Babu in this film.”
Maharshi star Mahesh Babu further said, “I wanted to do a different character. I acted in ‘Srimanthudu’, ‘Bharat Ane Nenu’, ‘Maharshi’ according to the story. I wanted to do a character which is in contrast to them and similar to the one I did in ‘Dookudu’. So I accepted this script.”
When Mahesh Babu was asked about the preparation for the role of Major Army Ajay Krishna, which he is playing in Sarileru Neekevvaru, to which he said that he had not done any special workouts but he reduced 6 kgs of weight.
Mahesh Babu also talked about working with Vijayashanthi after a long time and presence of Superstar Krishna in this film. Bharat Ane Nenu star said, “I have worked with her for ‘Koduku Diddina Kapuram’ film. After the first day of the shoot, I felt like the shoot of ‘Koduku Diddina Kapuram’ was just completed. No one can do justice to that role like Vijayashanti garu did. Her character in this film, is very important. Krishna Garu will also be seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, he is a surprising element in the film.”
Mahesh Babu’ favorite song is the theme song of Sarileru Neekevvaru, which comes at the start. The lyrics of this song are penned by Devi Sri Prasad. After this theme song, he liked ‘Suryudiva Chandrudivo’ song. Mahesh Babu praised Devi Sri Prasad and said, “I feel very happy and relaxed knowing that DSP is doing the background score for my film. Because he is very responsible for his work. Devi knows exactly where the scene starts and where it should end. He gave his best for this movie Sarileru Neekevvaru.
About Megastar Chiranjeevi’ appreciation at the prerelease event of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu said, “Chiranjeevi garu was supporting me for a long time. During ‘Okkadu’, he watched it and loved it. He spoke with me over the phone. Then we erected Madhura Meenakshi Temple set for ‘Arjun’ movie. He came to the set and spent a long time there. After watching ‘Pokiri’ Chiranjeevi garu called me from Jagan gari office. He spoke with me for three hours that day. Since then, for all my Superhits I receive the first call from Chiranjeevi garu only. That is the main reason I said in the prerelease event that I wish to receive the first phone call from him only on 11th January. It was my idea to welcome Chiranjeevi garu to the pre release event as the chief guest. When I asked him to attend the event, he agreed.
It is known news that during the pre release event, Chiranjeevi said that Superstar Krishna garu should get Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
About Rashmika Mandanna, Mahesh Babu said, “ Her character has very good importance in the film. We need a fresh face for that role and that is the main reason, we finalized her. She is very talented actress.”
According to Mahesh Babu, the Rathnavelu’s cinematography is highlighted in this film. His work is amazing when it comes to the visuals and quality of the film.
In Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu will also be seen performing action sequences. Ram- Lakshman are Mahesh Babu’ favorite fight masters. They did a splendid job in a couple of action sequences.
Mahesh Babu is very happy as he got the opportunity to work with Anil Sunkara and Dil Raju. Mahesh Babu expressed his desire to work with Anil Ravipudi once again and said, “I like Anil Ravipudi very much after doing this film. I haven’t seen such a kind of energy in the directors. Amidst many tensions and problems, He keeps on smiling on the sets. While our team gets tensed, Anil Ravipudi does a small dance to change the mood of everyone. I am shocked that he has completed this kind of big project within 5 months.”
When Mahesh Babu was asked about his help in the operations of 1000 kids, he said, “We collaborated with a couple of other firms and conducted the operations. I am very honored to work with Andhra Hospitals and Heal-A-Child foundation. We are planning to extend these services to a much bigger level in the future.”
Mahesh Babu concluded it by speaking about his upcoming project. His next project will be directed by Vamsi Paidipally and produced by Dil Raju.
