Mahesh Babu creates Non Baahubali records

Mahesh Babu starrer upcoming movie Maharshi has already started to create records. Recently www.tollywood.net has reported that digital and satellite rights of the film being sold for a bomb, now according to the latest update, Maharshi has fetched around Rs 26 Cr in terms of the Hindi rights. It means Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi has created a non-Baahubali record by becoming the Telugu film other than Baahubali, which has earned the maximum in terms of the Hindi dubbing rights.

The movie which is based on the friendship, has potential to crush pre-existing records at the box office. Maharshi is being directed by Vamsi Paidipally, and it has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead role whereas Allari Naresh will be seen playing the role of Mahesh Babu’ friend. The teaser and the recently released song Choti Choti Baatein from Maharshi, have raised quite a curiosity and the expectations are very high among the moviegoers. The satellite rights of Maharshi have been sold for a whopping price. It is heard that the makers of Mahesh Babu starrer have recovered Rs 27.80 Cr from the sale of its digital and satellite rights.

Maharshi is being produced by Sri Venkateshwara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema. This is Mahesh Babu’s 25th film. The major part of the film has been shot in the USA. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 9th May 2019.

After the release of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will team up with director Anil Ravipudi, who is basking in the glory of his recent offering F2: Fun and Frustration.
