Mahesh Babu has been working day and night for his upcoming flick Sarileru Neekevvaru, which is being directed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 Fun and Frustration. The comedy and romantic entertainer drama jointly produced by AK Entertainments, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd and Sri Venkateswara Creations, will release across the globe on 12th January 2020 on the occasion of Sankranthi. Mahesh Babu who has a tight shooting schedule stole some time to wish versatile actor Kamal Haasan on the occasion of his birthday but he did not wish Trivikram Srinivas who also celebrated his birthday on the same day.

Earlier Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas were good friends and they have also worked together for Kheleja, which ended up commercially flop at the box office. But all is not well between Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas in recent years.

In the month of April, it was also heard that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas are going to collaborate for a project but there is no update to date regarding their project.

The duo- Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas teamed up for the first time in 2005 for the movie Athadu, which catapulted Mahesh Babu to fame. After five years, they again joined hands for Khaleja, which was a damp squib at the box office.

Currently, Mahesh Babu is working with Anil Ravipudi for an upcoming drama Sarileru Neekevvaru, which has Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The movie which also has Vijayshanthi in a crucial role is slated to hit the theaters on 12th January 2020. On the other side, Trivikram Srinivas’ directorial venture ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ starring Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, is going to clash with Mahesh Babu starrer at the office during Sankranthi. But neither Mahesh Babu, not Trivikram Srinivas are ready to change the release date of their movies. Few are saying in the film industry that Mahesh Babu’s ego issue is not allowing him to change the release date of Sarileru Neekevvaru.
