Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is in the news headlines because of her recently released women centric movie Gangubai Kathiawadi, which is running successfully at the theaters and mining the money. The big budget drama is helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. If ongoing buzz in the media and the film industry are to be believed, Alia Bhatt will soon be seen opposite south superstar Mahesh Babu in SS Rajamouli’ magnum opus.
The source says that Alia Bhatt has left her SS Rajamouli impressed with her cameo in his directorial venture RRR starring Young Tiger Jr NTR and mega power star Ram Charan, and now he is planning to do a fully fledged film with her along with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu.
It is known that SS Rajamouli and KV Vijayendra Prasad (Baahubali and Bajrangi Bhaijaan writer), have been working on the screenplay of their next collaboration with Mahesh Babu in the lead. They are feeling that Alia Bhatt fits the bill to play the female lead. They believe that Alia Bhatt will make a solid pairing with Mahesh.
On the otherside, Mahesh Babu is currently working for an upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata which has Keerthy Suresh in the female lead.
