According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Bollywood senior heroine Kareena Kapoor was given a fatty paycheck of Rs 12 crore to play the role of goddess Sita Devi in Madhu Mantena’ adaptation of the Ramayan. It is also being heard that Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu will play the role of Lord Rama whereas Kareen Kapoor Khan in the role of Sita.
However, neither Bharat Ane Nenu fame Mahesh Babu nor the producers confirmed whether this project will materialize. Let’s wait for a few more days to get clarity regarding this film of Mahesh Babu and Kareena Kapoor Khan.
The perception is that Madhu Mantena’s magnum opus is going to be a lot bigger than Prabhas starrer upcoming drama Adipurush, which is being helmed by Om Raut. Meanwhile Kareena is going through a busy phase on the professional front. She was last seen in Angrezi Medium, which hit the screens last year just before the Coronavirus lockdown. The film also had late actor Irrfan Khan in the lead.
Begam Kareena Kapoor Khan is awaiting the release of Laal Singh Chaddha, which has Aamir Khan in the lead role and Akkineni Naga Chaitanya will be seen in the crucial roles. Currently Mahesh Babu is working with Parasuram of Geetha Govindam fame for Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
