She brought a book called “Couple of Things” with the incidents of her life. In this Amrita Rao shared about the incident where she was cheated. She said that she lost the offer to act with Salman Khan during the shooting of Mahesh Babu film. She revealed the reasons for that.
Amrita Rao recalled having parted ways with her manager just a few months before she realized that she was approached for Salman Khan film. She added, “When I was in Hyderabad shooting for Athithi with Mahesh Babu. One evening, back from the shoot in the lobby of my hotel Taj Banjara, I bumped into a production guy who worked closely with producer Boney Kapoor. ‘Oh, hi Amrita! How are you doing? If only our dates had not clashed, you would be shooting for us with Salman Khan for Wanted,’ he said. I looked at him blankly and asked ‘When was 1 approached for Wanted?’”
That guy told me that he had called her manager and he said Amrita’ dates were impossible to match.
