Mahesh Babu’ mother and Superstar Krishna’ wife Indira Devi passed away today morning owing to an age-related ailment. Heartbroken Mahesh Babu was spotted performing the last rites of his mother Indira Devi. Bharat Ane Nenu fame star was seen wearing a traditional white outfit and heading for the funeral. Mahesh Babu was visibly emotional as he headed to perform the last rite of his loving mother.
Indira Devi’ mortal remains were kept at Padmalaya Studios for fans to pay their last respects. Several stars including King Nagarjuna, Venkatesh Daggubati and Vijay Deverakonda, among others, visited Mahesh’s family and paid their last respects and they also consoled Krishna, Mahesh Babu and other family members.
The last rites of Indira Devi have happened in Mahaprasthanam located in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. The Ghattamaneni family performed exequies as per Hindu tradition. Vijay Deverakonda, Rana Daggubati, Venkatesh Daggubati, Nagarjuna, Lakshmi Manchu, Mohan Babu, and Trivikram Srinivas among others attended the last rites at Mahesh’s house in Hyderabad
Indira Devi married Superstar Krishna in 1984 and has five children including Mahesh Babu, and Ramesh Babu, who passed away this year in the month of January and daughters Padmavathi, Manjula, and Priyadarshini.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu who was last seen playing the lead role in Sarkaru Vaari Paata is currently working for SSMB28.
