Today, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu urged the people to be kind to medical workers who have been working hard for the cause to safeguard the nation and its people. Mahesh Babu said in a tweet the frontline workers deserve huge respect for their sacrifice in fighting the deadly virus Corona.
Amid rising incidents of violence against healthcare workers, the Union Cabinet has recently approved an ordinance that will make violence and harassment against healthcare workers deployed in combating coronavirus a non-bailable offence. The offence will attract a maximum punishment of 7 years’ imprisonment and Rs 5 lakh fine.
Mahesh Babu, who is known for his power-packed performances, penned a heartfelt post for the healthcare workers on his twitter. Maharshi star expressed his gratitude and lauded the Corona warriors for working to keep people safe amid the tough times.
We have already reported that Mahesh Babu donated Rs 1 crore to the CM’ relief fund of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to support the government’s fight against Coronavirus. Bharat Ane Nenu star also donated Rs 25 lakhs for TFI workers and also urged his fellow actors to contribute their bit.
