This year Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu came up with an action drama Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was released on the occasion of Sankranthi and stood as a big hit in Telugu states. The movie is helmed by Anil Ravipudi of F2: Fun and Frustration fame and has Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna in the female lead role. The film Sarileru Neekevvaru got an all time record with the highest TRP on small screen. The Kannada dubbed version of Mahesh Babu and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru was premiered on television recently. The movie Sarileru Neekevvaru turned out to be the most watched Kannada version of all the Telugu films with a mind-blowing 6.5 TRPs.
Mahesh Babu starrer Sarileru Neekevvaru surpassed Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer historic drama ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ which received 6.3 TRP when it premiered.

Sarileru Neekevvaru was telecast on Television on the occasion of Ugadi this year.
