Prashanth Neel is one of the popular film maker who is known for helming KGF: Chapter 1 starring Yash and Srinidhi Shetty and his next project is KGF: Chapter 2, which is slated for a worldwide release on July 16. However, due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, it is uncertain whether the makers will be able to go ahead with this schedule. Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, recently Prashanth Neel met Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu and narrated a story line but Bharat Ane Nenu star was not impressed with the narration and rejected the offer. Mahesh Babu also suggesting Prashanth Neel to come up with different story line.
Currently Mahesh Babu is working with Parasuram for an upcoming drama Sarkaru Vaari Paata in which he is sharing the screen space with National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh under the direction of Parasuram. Jointly bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers and 14 Reels Plus in association with GMB Entertainment, the film also starring Vennela Kishore in a key role. Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is based on the bank scam, is slated to release in January 2022 coinciding with Sankranti festival.
Meanwhile Prashanth Neel is working with Prabhas for an action drama Salaar which has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Recently he also announced his project with Jr NTR.
