Mahesh Babu salutes to Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and other rescue forces for their efforts and wrote, “Highest respect to all those who are contributing towards Kerala flood relief. Salutations to Indian Army, Navy, Airforce & other rescue forces for their invaluable efforts at ground zero. #KeralaFloods #StandwithKerala #KeralaFloodRescue.”  The celebrities of Telugu Film Industry are also showing their generosity by donating large amounts.

Kerala is going through its worst flood crisis. The tragic floods in Kerala has taken the lives of over 370 till now. My stars like Stylish Star Allu Arjun, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan have also extended their helping hand by donating Rs 25 lakh each for the relief fund. It has also come out that  Chiranjeevi’s mother Anjana Devi donated Rs 1 lakh, whereas Upasana,  Apollo Hospital Vice President Upasana, Ram Charan’s wife has provided the medical facilities of Rs 10 lakhs.

Akkineni Nagarjuna has donated 28 Lakhs. Today morning Nagarjuna wrote on his Twitter, “#HelpKerala Our prayers and strength to people of Kerala in these hard times!! ..sending 28 lacs to the Kerala CM relief fund..we request everyone to come forward and help the people in need.. Amala & Nagarjuna Akkineni.” Young Tiger Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanam contributed 25 lakhs and 10 lakhs respectively to the Kerala CM Distress Relief Fund.

On the workside, Mahesh Babu was last seen in Koratala Siva’s directorial venture Bharat Ane Nenu in which he played the role of Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani played the love interest of Mahesh Babu.

 Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is working with Vamsi Paidipally for  his next upcoming project SSMB25, which has been titled as Maharshi, in which Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead. Mahesh Babu starrer is being produced by  by C. Ashwini Dutt, Dil Raju and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Vyjayanthi Movies, Sri Venkateswara Creations and PVP Cinema.
