According to the latest update, Malavika Nair has been roped to play the female lead in Pelli SandaD, a sequel to 1996 romantic entertainer Pelli Sandadi. In this upcoming Telugu film, Malavika Nair will be seen sharing the screen space with Roshan Neka, the eldest son of Srikanth.
Pelli SandaD is helmed by Gowri Ronanki and the upcoming film marks her debut as a director. The sources close to the makers revealed that the character requires an actor who could give subtle expressions. The makers are confident that Malavika Nair can do effortlessly. The actress is very impressed with the narration and has given her green signal for this upcoming film, which is bankrolled by KRR’s RK Films and Arka Media Works banner.
Apparently, the makers of upcoming film Pelli SandaD initially planned to sign on a debutant opposite the young actor Roshan, but the offer went to Malavika Nair eventually.
MM Keeravani, who scored music for the original, is on the board to compose music for the sequel Pelli SandaD. The makers are planning to release Roshan starrer in the second half of 2021.
Meanwhile Malavika Nair will be seen playing the female lead in upcoming Tamil film Arasiyalla Idhellam Saadharnamappa, which is being helmed by Avinaash Hariharan and produced by Auraa Cinemas.
