Hence, recently a request has come to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi from a tiny south-western archipelago nation which is none other than the Maldives. The request is to train the Maldivian cricketers in India.

From the latest reports, it was known that the training for Maldivian cricketers would be starting from next month. If everything goes as expected then it is believed that the centre would likely be assisting in constructing the new cricket stadium in the Maldives. Onto this, the centre has even asked the Maldives to submit a project report. During the bilateral meeting in New York, PM Narendra Modi and Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih have discussed On training, Maldivian cricketers in India.

MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar had declared that training for the Maldivian cricketers in India would be “starting next month”. Whereas on speaking about the construction of a stadium in the Maldives, Raveesh said, cricket stadium would be erected in the Maldives and centre has asked the nation to submit a project report on this. Surely, the young cricketers from the tiny nation will shine up in their skills under the supervision and guidance of our veteran trainers.
