Story: Mallesham is the biopic of Padma Shri award winner Chintakindi Mallesham, who invents the ‘Asu machine’, which processes yarn mechanically, and that bettered the lives of many women in and around Pochampally.

Plus Points:
· Priyadarshi
· Direction
· Screenplay

Minus Points:
· Slow Narration

Performance (Mallesham Review): Priyadarshi has delivered a wonderful performance, which is the major assets of Mallesham. He maintains a beautiful balance between humour and emotion. Ananya justifies her role not just with how adorable she looks, but also the way she manages to pull off her role. Jhansi as the caring mother in a role is fine. Chakrapani Ananda, Jagadish Pratap Bhandari, Anvesh Michael and Thiruveer have performed their role very well.

Technical: The story line of Mallesham is very impressive. Director Raj Rachakonda became successful to impress the audiences. Raj Rachakonda shares the writing credits with Peddinti Ashok Kumar, starts his story in the 80s. In the opening scene, a weaver buys Gold Spot, reminiscent of era. As the story progresses, Chiranjeevi blockbusters and the local festivals become the markers of time. Mallesham’s bond with his wife Padma (Ananya) is as heart-warming as that with his mother. The cinematography work is note worthy. Editing is ok.

Analysis: The script is the true hero in Mallesham, which keep the audience glued to their seats from the title credits to end.
