Today afternoon the makers of spy thriller drama Agent officially announced the inclusion of Malayalam star Mammootty in Akhil starrer Agent and also released the first look poster. Mammootty will play the role of the antagonist – The Devil in this film Agent which is being directed by Surender Reddy. The upcoming film has a screenplay written by Vakkantham Vamsi.
Mammootty has joined the sets and started the shoot of his part. Agent is jointly produced by AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema. Sakshi is on board to play the female lead in this film. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the shooting was delayed. Ragul Herian Dharuman is the cinematographer, Naveen Nooli is the editor and Hiphop Tamizha is the music director. Ajay Sunkara, Pathi Deepa Reddy are the co-producers of Agent.
After a gap of three years, Mammootty is making his comeback in Tollywood. He was last seen in the role of a late Telugu political leader Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy in Yatra which was released in 2019. The talented actor had also dubbed his lines in Telugu for the movie and now he will be seen sharing the screen space with Nagarjuna’ younger son Akhil.
Currently Mammootty is basking in the glory of his recently released movie Bheeshma Parvam.
