Masooda movie box office collections: Sangitha, Thiruveer, Subhaleka Sudhakar, Akhila Ram, Kavya Kalyanram, Bandhavi Sridhar and others starrer Masooda was released yesterday and received the mixed response by the movie lovers and critics. The horror drama is helmed by Sai Kiran, bankrolled by Rahul Yadav Nakka whereas it has the music by Prashanth R Vihari. Now according the latest report the movie Masooda got an excellent start on day 1.
This Horror movie got decent reception from audience and collected around Rs 60L Gross from both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its release day. And the movie’s worldwide Day 1 Gross is around Rs 70 L. Overall the talk is decent and the movie will show some growth over the weekend for sure.
The movie Masooda competed with Sudigali Sudheer starrer Gaalodu at the box office, Gaalodu also got very good openings on day 1 especially in Hyderabad.
Masooda is all about the story of Neelam( Sangitha) , a single mother who leads a struggling life with her daughter Naziya (Bandhavi Sridhar). They maintain a good relationship with their neighbour Gopi Krishna (Thiruveer) , a software employee. One night, Neelam finds herself banging his door. Nazia starts behaving peculiarly which leaves Neelam and Gopi in utter shock. Gopi tells Neelam that her daughter is possessed and needs the help of exorcists. Later the mother and her cowardly neighbour come together to rid her of evil.
