On December 6, the anniversary of the Babri Masjid demolition,  All India Hindu Mahasabha has announced that they will perform Rudrabhishek in the Shahi Eidgah Masjid built near Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi and install the statue of Laddu Gopal. Along with this, Hanuman Chalisa will be recited in the mosque. After this announcement of Hindu Mahasabha, the administration has come on alert. About 1500 policemen and security forces have been deployed here.

UP Police has put up barricades and vehicle checks are being done in various places in Mathura in view of the Hindu Mahasabha’s call for reciting Hanuman Chalisa inside a mosque on Tuesday. The official said that nobody would be  allowed to take the law into his own hands and spoil peace of this pilgrim city.

 The official said that nearly 1,500 police, armed constabulary and  the paramilitary force personnel deployed and traffic restrictions enforced near Shri Krishna Janmasthan temple and Shahi Masjid Idgah in the temple town.

 The Senior Superintendent of Police Shailesh Pandey said that no new tradition or ritual would be allowed to be performed. And nobody would be allowed to take the law into his own hands and spoil peace of this pilgrim city.

 Dinesh Kaushik the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha – ABHM national treasurer said they would go ahead with the program.

He said that he would proceed according to the schedule. He said that if the administration does not allow us to go ahead, we will recite Hanuman Chalisa at the place where we will be stopped. 

Dinesh Kaushik also threatened  that he would commit suicide if the administration stopped him.
