Mega Prince Varun Tej starrer sport based drama Ghani, based on boxing, is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati. Today the makers of Ghani announced the new release date. Varun Tej starrer Ghani will be released on 25th February 2022 in theaters Worldwide in a very grand manner. The movie has been cleared with a U/A certificate by the Censor Board of Film Certification.
Recently the Ghani team revealed that the film will either release on February 25 or March 4. Of the two release dates, the makers have now locked one. The movie has been pushed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Saiee Manjrekar is playing the female lead in this film. Apart from the lead actors, Ghani also has Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty and Naveen Chandra in the crucial roles. Tamannaah Bhatia will be seen in a special appearance in the item number Kodthe. The movie is bankrolled by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company. Varun Tej starrer has the music by S Thaman, George C Williams is the cinematographer and Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
For the preparation of the role, Varun Tej went to the US and learned the basics of kickboxing under the supervision of 2008 Summer Olympics bronze medalist Tony Jeffries.
