Mehbooba Review: Mehbooba starring Akash Puri and Neha Shetty, directed by Puri Jagannadh has finally hit the theaters today on 11th May 2019. The film has the music by Sandeep Chowta. After delivering successful movie Pokiri and Temper, Puri Jagannadh, delivered a series of flop movies including Loafer, ISM, Rogue and Paisa Vasool. The movies that have a patriotic backdrop specially India vs Pakistan, generally tend to perform well at the box office. The recently released trailer of Mahbooba has already created lot of buzz and proved that Mehbooba has a heavy dose of patriotism.
Let’s see the storyline of Mehbooba:

Mehbooba Movie Plus Points:
- Akash Puri
- Production value
Mehbooba Movie Minus Points:
Performance: Akash Puri as Roshan has delivered his fantastic performance. His facial expressions, way of dialogue delivery are impressive. Akash Puri is in superb form, especially the ease and energy levels. Neha Shettya s Afreen performs well. Sayaji Shinde as father of Roshan is good. Vishu Reddy is fine. Murali Sharma is ok. Rest of the cast performed accordingly.
Technical: The storyline of Mehbooba is interesting. Dialogues are entertaining. Cinematography by Vishnu Sharma is alright and is pleasing to eyes. The songs are good. Sandeep Chowta sets the mood up for the film with his background music . Editing by Junaid Siddiqui is fine. Action sequences are well choreographed. Art department did a good job. Production values are lavish.
Analysis: Bringing out love stories or subjects with action backdrop to attract mass audiences is not new to the Telugu film industry. If the director had a perfect script and gripping screenplay to mould the subject on the celluloid, nothing can stop the film from becoming a hit. Director Puri Jaganandh has chosen a reincarnation love story in the war backdrop for Mehbooba. He has filled complete energy in the film. The first half is average, second half is impressive but the stretchy climax tests the patience of the audience.
