It is known news that Pelli Choopulu and Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Deverakonda will soon be making his Kollywood debut with an upcoming untitled film, which will be helmed by Anand Shankar of ‘Arima Nambi’ and ‘Iru Mugan’ fame and produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner of Studio Green. The film’s cinematographer is Santhana Krishnan Ravi Chandran, son of ace cameraman Ravi K Chandran. The rest of the cast and crew will be announced soon.
The young Vijay Deverakonda who has done only two films as a lead actor let go of the offer from the legendary director. According to the latest update, the makers are planning to rope Mehreen Kaur Pirzada to play the female lead role. However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding it.
Mehreen was last seen in Sai Dharam Tej starrer Jawaan which was commercially flop at the box office. On the otherside, currently Vijay Devarakonda is busy with a slew of films right now, and his films Taxiwala and Geeta Govindam are likely to hit the theaters very soon.
