BJP leader and former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy said that there is a campaign going on in Delhi that there is an understanding between BRS-BJP and people believe this campaign by Congress. He said that Kavitha should be arrested in the Delhi liquor case if people are to regain confidence in the BJP. He said that there is only five months for the elections in the state. He said that BJP’s speed in the state is not enough. He also made the comments while talking to reporters in Delhi yesterday.
He said that the people who first believed that BJP is the party that would harm KCR and his family, now they do not believe. Vishweshwar Reddy recalled that everyone thought that Kavitha’s arrest was certain in the Delhi liquor case and even his party leaders gave lectures on this. However, now that the case has slowed down, people have started to have doubts, he said. He said that if Kavitha does not go to jail, people will accuse BJP and BRS of collusion.
Vishweshwar Reddy declared that the BJP was serious about defeating KCR. He added, “We have to focus on change and remove the doubts in public mind. There are several reasons for this and one among them is there was a lot of expectation that MLC Kavitha will get arrested in Delhi liquor scam. But the thing is that is ED which is pursuing Delhi liquor case and we are a political party, it is not in our hands. If Kavitha gets arrested, faith in BJP will increase.”
