Mokshagna, the son of Nandamuri Balakrishna is all set to foray into cinema. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Nandamuri Mokshagna will make his acting debut with NTR biopic, in which his father Balakrishna is playing the role of his father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. The sources close to the film unit say that Mokshagna will play the younger version of NTR in the direction of Krish.
It seems Krish has asked Balakrishna to launch his son with this much prestigious project. The official confirmation is awaited regarding it. Mokshagna is on a tight fitness regime and is also being trained in acting. The sources say that Mokshagna is not exactly keen on making his debut as a hero. He is more intent on turning a director and producer, but Balakrishna wants to introduce his son Mokshagna as a hero.
The regular shoot of NTR biopic has been commenced. According to reports, NTR biopic is budgeted at Rs 50 crore which means it is the most expensive Balakrishna movie ever! The makers are planning to release it on the occasion of Sankranthi next year.
The film is all about the demi-god of Telugites, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). He was an actor, producer, director, editor and politician who served seven years as the Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh. NTR had even received three National Film Awards for ‘Thodu Dongalu’, ‘Seetharama Kalyanam’ and ‘Varakatnam’.
Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be donning the role of NTR’s wife, Basava Tarakam. Both Nandamuri and Daggubatti families share a good rapport and it is heard that Baahubali and Ghazi fame Rana Daggubati will also play the important role and will make his screen presence as Chandrababu Naidu. Nadiya will be seen as former Indian prime minister, Indira Gandhi. Once again Keerthy Suresh will play Savitri Mahanati in NTR biopic.
