Akhil Akkineni starrer spy thriller drama Agent, Mani Ratnam’ magnum opus Ponniyan Selvan-2 is going to compete at the Tollywood box office this week. The fight between these two big budget movies will be very interesting. Ponniyan Selvan lags far behind as an agent in publicity and buzz.
Currently Akhil and Agent team are busy in the promotional activities. He seems to be busy with back to back events and interviews without a gap. A pre-release event was held in Warangal on Sunday. It is known that another big event is being planned in Hyderabad soon.
On the other hand Ponnion Selvan 2 is completely behind in terms of promotions. No promotions were done in Telugu States except for one pre-release event. On the other hand, the first part of Ponniyan Selvan was not well received in Tollywood. Mani Ratnam has made this movie with full emphasis on Tamil culture and traditions.
There is zero buzz on the sequel of Ponniyan Selvan in the Telugu States due to the impact of the first part.
