OTT platform giant Netflix is failing from time to time to attract the Indian audience. From a couple of years, Netflix is concentrating on Indian market and are inking deals with Bollywood directors and actors. However apart from a few, nothing is working in their favor. Recently Sushanth Singh Rajput and Jacqueline Fernandez starrer Drive became a dud in Netflix, now it is time for another.
On May 1st, Netflix started to stream their next original Mrs Serial Killer which starred Jacquline Fernandez and Manoj Bajpayee. Touted to be a thriller, this movie hasn’t caught up well with the audience. Ratings has been poor by the media and audience a like. Disaster ratings started to increase. IMDB rating for this show is currently at 3 which shows the audience reaction to this digital movie.
Sirish Kunder has directed this revenge saga. However it is not going well. Critics are suggesting that Netflix needs to think on their deals and come up with impressive stuff to attain Indian audience trust. However Netflix with its large library of International content is still ruling the roost in Indian markets in this lock down period. It has seen a gain of large number of new subscribers.
